We are on our way
Found a property in Competa looking forward to moving in on 3rd November Lorraine and I are looking forward to our new lives and new friends we may meet

are you buying or renting? have you got jobs etc. lined up are you doing like us and just going for it?

Please don't say that you are intending looking for work in Spain to be able to survive??

We are moving the other way and having dipped our toes became resident played the game car into the system and all that good stuff. Spain is simply not for us. So back to France.
However met a French guy yesterday and during our chat (he lived in the haute alpes near Lyon) said that he could not continue to live in France for tax and Hollande reasons and his euro goes further in Spain and the weather is better.
Against that we are going back to our house in France! We leave in two weeks have some wonderful experiences and some not so good. But that is life is it not.

Yesterday I was in Church (Anglican) in Javea and we celebrated the birthdays of two lovely ladies one 98 the other 87 and more than half their lives spent in Javea. They are at peace with what is before them and they love Javea and it is with sadness we leave but decision made.
Those of you who live near Javea please use Javea Connect we are having an open morning next Sunday and lots of stuff is there for sale. All of the proceeds go to local animal charities. Your valuation for everything is welcomed. There will be a big black bucket.
Yesterday I said goodbye to the feral cats at the port and today in a different location. I will miss them. They ask for nothing but love and to be fed!
