Dear Mr Cameron,

Please find below our suggestion for fixing the UK's economy.

Instead of giving billions of pounds to banks that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan.

You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:

There are about 10 million people over 50 in the work force.

Pay them £1 million each severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:

1) They MUST retire.
Ten million job openings - unemployment fixed

2) They MUST buy a new British car.
Ten million cars ordered - Car Industry fixed

3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage -
Housing Crisis fixed

4) They MUST send their kids to school/college/university -
Crime rate fixed

5) They MUST buy £100 WORTH of alcohol/tobacco a week .....
And there's your money back in duty/tax etc

It can't get any easier than that!

P.S. If more money is needed, have all members of parliament pay back their falsely claimed expenses and second home allowances

I like the idea behind your theory but the reality is that they are far to busy giving it to other countries to stop them from coming to the UK to try and destroy the very system that is paying them the money which has funded there visit in the first place.

This is when they are not paying money to 3rd world countries for business start up funds to help them raise themselves out of the gutter so our major companies can then close all their UK divisions and take those same jobs to the then funded emerging market and hire their newly educated workforce that is happy to work for pittance as it is a step up from starvation.

And heaven forbid that we should say no to anyone wanting to live in the UK whether they are from Europe or anywhere else in the world and should they not get permission to stay in the UK who cares they can stay anyway, as they do not live next door to the politicians and there are not enough police to go play find the illegal immigrant anyway and with all the computer systems centralised non of which talk to each other unless you have a British surname like Smith, Jones, etc this same system does not seem to recognise surnames beginning with Khan, Wong, Wing, Singh but hay Britain is a global country.

Which ever government happens to be in power they are to busy lining their own pockets so when they are out of power they can make a fortune doing the rounds on the chat shows, benefit black tie do's and universities so they can pass on their hard earned knowledge as to why getting into government is something the kids should consider.

It does not matter how much it would cost to give 10 million people a million pound over the years we have thrown it into the black hole we call globalisation, if we looked after our own first instead of wanting cheap imports then there would be no problem, but to not need cheap import we need to have decent wages to have decent wages we need to have jobs to have jobs we need to have a government that actually gives a toss about the people is is supposed to be representing.

we are building schools, funding all the english lessons so they can come here and fill in the benefit forms and argue they have human rights.

why are so many people leaving the uk to settle in other countries ??

when we have all gone and there is no one to fund all the benefits ...........

Other points you might consider:

Put the pensioners in jail and the criminals in a nursing home, then
the pensioners would have access to showers, hobbies and walks. They'd
also receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical
treatment, wheel chairs etc. They’d have constant video monitoring so
if assistance was needed they’d have immediate help. Bedding would be
washed twice a week, and all clothing would be washed and ironed as
needed. There would be a guard to check on them every 20 minutes and
staff to bring their meals and snacks to their cell.

They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose.

They would have access to a library, weight room, spiritual
counseling, pool and education.

Simple clothing, shoes, slippers, PJ's and legal aid would be free, on request.

There would be private, secure rooms for all, with an exercise outdoor
yard, with gardens for anyone who felt the need to exercise.

Each senior could have a PC a TV radio and daily phone calls and there
would be a board of directors to hear complaints, and all guards would
have a code of conduct that would have to be strictly adhered to.

The criminals would get cold food, be left all alone and unsupervised
day and night. Lights off at 8pm, and showers once a week; live in a
tiny room and pay £600.00 per week without any hope of ever getting
out.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that, during the
mad cow epidemic, our government could track a single cow, born almost
three years ago in Appleby, right to the stall where she slept in the
county of Cumbria? And, they even tracked her calves to their
individual stalls.. But they are unable to locate 125,000 illegal
immigrants wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each
illegal immigrant a cow.

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a
courthouse or Parliament, is this -

You cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal', 'Thou Shalt Not Commit
Adultery' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers,
judges and politicians..... It creates a hostile work environment.

I hate to say this but if the situation in GB carries on in the way the press report then the last government´s policies and this ones will assist BNP and UKIP more than any canvassing could ever do. I detest extremist views of any persuasion but maybe this would give the two mainline parties a kick up the backside, they certainly need it.

As with a lot of stuff circling the internet, a lot of that round robin post is the purest shite, and falls apart as soon as you apply the slightest bit of critical reasoning.

You can trace anyone, any cow, whatever. If all immigrants had to wear a ******* great plastic tag thru their ears and live in fields, I bet we'd have no problem in tracking them either.

Two points leading from comments heard on our great instution BBC( radio4)
1 ) We now have a record number of non UK born pupils in our primary schools. The UK has an aging population and we NEED young families with children, to pay taxes and support our retirees who are claiming a state pension.
2) There was an interview with an employer from somewhere "up north, to you London lot"" It was around High Wickham or thereabouts. He was complaining that he had jobs which the local people were not interested in and that he needed to "employ" eastern European origin. When asked about pay and conditions, he stated that he was going to pay less than the minimum wage and that the work was "when needed"
Hardly looks good for anybody but there will always be some people willing to make a profit from other people's misfortune.

as they are living in council\social housing or private let properties with rent paid by benefits then why can't we track them ??

uk neighbour of mine personally went to council to argue as to why daughter with 2 kids had to live in 1 bed flat - was told all larger properties are kept for immigrants.

it is either the daily mail\daily express or the govt that are telling us they don't know where all the immigrants are... I can understand if it was eye-eye's they can't find, they came in across a beach in the middle of the night. But as we have now scrapped the Royal Navy how can we catch them

I do believe that the government has been stupid enough to treat immigrants better than indigents, at least some of the time. This is so bloody stupid, it's frightening.

The Uk is a big country in it's own way, densly populated, and very, very easy to disappear into. The only way to keep tighter tabs on those with an inclination to slip off into the night and disappear, is to have the whole population under greater surveillance and checks on everyones movements.

I'd rather put up with some immigrants taking the piss, to be honest.

Must remember to thank the Yanks for screwing us all over with their stupid sub prime mortgages, and our own bankers for being just as stupidly greedy.
