Hello George,
I disposed of my Sky box early January this year and purchased the Freesat box , see attached link, very pleased with it indeed, if you want to view and record simultaneously though you shall need a twin LNB, +/-£15:00
Regards

Is the NTL box a cable box?
If so it won't be of much use in Spain.
The only options for UK programs are really by satellite - either Sky or Freesat etc.
Have a read of this recent thread.

With Virgin Media cable equipment the user never has ownership of the box, so you can’t take it with you. If you think you own it because you bought it, you don’t, as it’s ‘stolen goods’.
Plus it won’t work without the correct cable signal, which is highly unlikely to be available to you abroad.
