No not sorry, just baffled by the amount I have still to learn! I have accepted I will never be fluent, but know how important it is to try.
The problem with me is I learn in fits and starts. And it is time I started again!
Sadly there does not appear to be any short cuts!

I have been using English for the last 50 plus years, and I can assure you that I do not know everything there is to know about it. I could not tell you every tense, or every detail of punctuation, and I am one who finds grammar and language fascinating.

Don't let the sea of detail drown you. Just take pleasure in learning a little more each day, and one day you will surprise yourself.

Here's a tip taught to me by a tutor I once had, He was English, and he spoke German, French and Spanish so elegantly it was a pleasure to listen to him.

I was foundering a bit with German, and seeing I was depressed, he stopped me, and made me go back 5 lessons. We wizzed thru it with no problems.

"When you did that" he said, "You really were struggling with it. Now look at how far you have come since the beginning of the book."

There will always be stuff you don't understand or know. Don't sweat it.
