Hello neighbours
I've left this well late as usual, but after a bit of advise.
All you folks who live around Velez, Torre, Torrox, Algarrobo, I am coming over for three weeks on Sunday to fit out the house, can anyone advise on local flea markets, antique shops, junk shops? also any farmers markets or fruit/veg markets, local produce type places instead of Eroski and the like, just realised in all the times I have been over I have always been to busy on the house to really look out these places..any advise would be very welcome, Muchas in hope.

Good farmers market at Trepeche Airport a few hundred yards down on the left on the Triana Road, every Tuesday.

I've sent you a PM with a link for a website about Axarquia. Hopefully you get it before you leave and that the info. is helpful.

There's a car boot/flea market in Nerja on Sundays and there are a couple of second hand furniture shops in Nerja. I think there is also one at Vinuela and one in Torre del Mar near the bus station.

For local produce try one of the street markets. Caleta on Saturday, Torrox on Monday, Nerja on Tuesday, small one at Algarrobo on Wednesday, Torre del Mar and Velez on Thursday and I think there is one at Frigiliana on Friday. The small veg shop on by the roundabout opposite Lidle at Algarrobo costa is also very good for local produce.

As mentioned there is a farmers market at Trapiche on Tuesdays and a lovely craft market at Torrox Pueblo on Saturday mornings. (Don't go if you are on a diet!)

There is an indoor market (mornings only)at Torre del Mar which is good place to buy fish.
