I think that rule only applies to the wiring in the house, not to what you connect to it.
They still sell gas boilers to anyone, but see what happens if there is a problem with the installation. ,-)

With all due respect, I dont think you should be playing with electrics.

Just buy in Spain, use an adapter, or have an electrician change the plug.

As long as you buy earthed adapters it will be fine.
