Useful language sites.
Not sure if this should go in the free beer thread, but maybe it deserves its own thread. Other posters have from time to time given useful links in this field; perhaps we could bring them all together?
Anyway, the website I found is on the ElPais site. Although it's described as a English-Spanish dictionary, it also includes synonyms and expressions; additionally it gives French translations.

Here are just a few examples given when searching on the word "face"

I like http://wordreference.com/ - they also give examples and if you can't find what you need there's a forum as well.
http://www.verbix.com/ is good for checking verb conjugations.
Also the RAE dictionary, http://buscon.rae.es/draeI/ - which you can add as a search option in Firefox
