In yet another embarrassing setback for searchers hunting for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, a high-tech underwater drone has been forced back to the surface for the second time. It sent itself back to the surface earlier this week after its safety mechanism kicked in as it tried to reach the bottom of the Indian Ocean - but today it was its operators who brought it back up. The Joint Agency Co-ordination Centre (JACC) announced today that the autonomous underwater vehicle, Bluefin-21, had been forced to resurface to rectify a technical issue. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...#ixzz2z4xw4Pnj the GDY's came along with the towed array that would listen on 37.5khz under the ocean, as part of that package was Bluefin. But surely everyone with any sense knew that although not formally charted the sea bed was below its operating depth. If the likes of you and I can see it why did they let themselves get bamboozled and not have other options sitting on the jetty and readily available ?? For those who don't know, Bluefin is supposed to drop to a depth which is X feet above the surface - the sea bed is lower than the maximum so when dropped down and looking for the sea bed Bluefin saw it was operating at a depth that was more than its maximum and shut down and returned to the surface. Who the hell let techies get involved in science and technology ?? |

The company's that were using the factory that collapsed in Bangladesh pledged to send 24 million, to aid the victims.
So far only 4 million has come in. some of the 28 company's that were using the factory, have not pledged anything, primary 6 million. The average wage for a textile worker is 40 pound a month. no wonder clothes are so cheap, at the low end, and such huge profits made at the higher end. |

Quite a large number of children are starting school and the are still in nappies.
These children have no mental or physical condition, it seems that toilet training has been crossed of their parents 'to do' list. I can understand the teachers being annoyed at having to do what should be the responsibility of parents. |

Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Officer asked a young Engineer fresh out of MIT, "And what starting salary were you looking for?"
The Engineer replies, "In the region of $125,000 a year, depending on the benefits package." The interviewer enquires, "Well, what would you say to a package of 5-weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary, and a company car leased every 2 years say, a red Corvette?" The Engineer sits up straight and says, "Wow! Are you kidding?" And the interviewer replies, "Yeah, but you started it." |

Gerry Adams is being interviewed by police in connection with the murder of a widowed mother of 10 in 1972.
Another cold case brought to life. It has been 7 years since Madeleine McCann disappeared. Her parents have said they need to know if she is alive or dead. What a tragic 'anniversary' today is for them. Is there still any hope for little 'Maddie?':fingerscrossed: |

He is expecting prison. Don't think he'll take to it very well. Could possibly be out in 4 if he behaves himself. |
