I don't agree with that as most are UK Brewed, The only one I assume that is Import and that I cant be sure of is Heineken (tadcaster) and possibly Perroni too
Amstel (Netherlands) John Smith’s, Tadcaster, North Yorkshire (Heineken) Asahi (Japan) Shepherd Neame, Faversham, Kent Budweiser (United States) Mortlake Brewery, London; Magor Brewery, Monmouthshire; $$$$$Samlesbury Brewery, Lancashire (A-B InBev) Carlsberg (Denmark) Carlsberg UK, Northampton Cobra (India) Burton North Brewery, Burton upon Trent (Molson Coors) Coors (United States) Burton North Brewery, Burton upon Trent; Burton South Brewery, $$$$$Burton upon Trent (both Molson Coors) Foster’s (Australia) Alton Brewery, Hampshire; Burton North Brewery, Burton upon Trent $$$$$(both Molson Coors); Royal Brewery, Manchester; John Smith’s, Tadcaster, North $$$$$Yorkshire (both Heineken) Grolsch (Netherlands) Burton North Brewery, Burton upon Trent; Burton South Brewery, $$$$$Burton upon Trent (both Molson Coors) Hofbräu (Germany) Hall & Woodhouse, Blandford St Mary, Dorset Hürlimann (Switzerland) Shepherd Neame, Faversham, Kent Kingfisher (India) Shepherd Neame, Faversham, Kent Kirin Ichiban (Japan) Wells & Young’s, Bedford Kronenbourg (France) Royal Brewery, Manchester; Alton Brewery, Hampshire; John Smith’s, $$$$$Tadcaster, North Yorkshire (all Heineken) Oranjeboom (Netherlands) Shepherd Neame, Faversham, Kent Samuel Adams (United States) Shepherd Neame, Faversham, Kent San Miguel (Spain) Carlsberg UK, Northampton Stella Artois (Belgium) Magor Brewery, Monmouthshire; Samlesbury Brewery, Lancashire $$$$$(both A-B InBev) Sun Lik (China) Shepherd Neame, Faversham, Kent; R.W. Randall, Guernsey Tiger (Singapore) John Smith’s, Tadcaster, North Yorkshire (Heineken) Tuborg (Denmark) Carlsberg $ Ahh My fav is import > Heineken UK is part of Heineken International, based in the Netherlands, with three breweries in Britain. Although these breweries produce several beers with foreign origins, all the Heineken-branded beer sold in Britain comes from the group’s brewery at Zoeterwoudein, south of Amsterdam. Singaporean Tiger is hard to get hold of, although I used to prefer Castle when I was out there, not quite such a strong taste as Tiger and doesn't leave you so bloated. San Miguel is also available from a brewery in Hong Kong. ` |

Are you sure it is actually Singaporean Tiger, ISTR it being brewed in Europe somewhere, and also at a Beerfest a few years ago one of the UK brewers had a beer called Tiger.

The Tiger beer is brewed in UK under licence by Heineken, the bottle is as below in the pic, Its a known beer in UK but I do not know if it is the one you mean.
Heineken announced 3 Aug 2012 that the company will acquire Fraser and Neave’s stake in Asia Pacific Breweries for $4.1 billion USD. Essentially it is the same beer, but it is surely a lager not a yeast based beer. Many medics used to demand that patients attending with "water infections" refrained from drinking it for 48 hours prior to a water test - the contents skewed the results.:sneaky: It has been around a long time, as has Tiger Balm (no relation). |
Re: The UK news thread.
Peaches Geldof has died today is UK's latest news.

"We are beyond pain," said her father, confirming her death. "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us." Are you sure Bob ? |

Re: The UK news thread.
Peaches and Katie Hopkins had quite a heated debate on TV about kids and families.
Now this has happened I hope Katie doesn't join in with the melodramatic claptrap gracing our screens at the moment. |
