No one ever believes those non news weather stories. They come in every few weeks, not reliable. As you pointed out on your alleged "good news" the last time they said that it was a wash out...we could almost see you smirking when we read it

Interesting again, you've leaped in to support your fellow team members.
You are here to spread the "UK good, Spain bad" agenda, and so can't comprehend that someone who likes Spain, also has good things to say about the UK (and you can check my other entries on this thread, indeed on the board).
That's your major failing, you have a mindset that anyone who doesn't follow your agenda, is a mirror image of yourselves. Not the case.

I am not here to support anyone, just saying what I think.

The first same sex weddings happened yesterday and there were earthquakes in California this morning..... Coincidence? I think not..... You see, the religious nut jobs and bigots were right!

I've never bothered about same sex marriages but wondered about the men insisting on having what looked like scruffy beards for the ceremony. Is it to distinguish them from the 'normal' weddings where only one partner is likely to have a beard? And if it's all normal now, why bother?
I'm trying hard to suppress the inclination to ask what we are likely to see trundling down the aisle in years to come, and I won't succumb because I read the Guardian at times.

Yes, I wondered about matching beards. Also the couples all seem to have matching outfits...perhaps it's gay etiquette

Beards make men, men.... It's proven. On women they just look stupid. That is also proven. Don't bridesmaids in straight weddings all have matching outfits?

As for my life being dire, you could take a leaf out of my BOOK as regards living life with loads of jollies.
An OH who brings home the bacon, much more than we need, 2 happy, healthy adult kids, travelling, and I nearly forgot, not having to pay Spanish CGT etc and all that malarkey, as we are part timers.

But an enjoyable few hours spent wandering around a local castle and the grounds, some brilliant colour about, plus watching them flying birds of prey, red kite, peregrine, owls etc . Plenty of photo opportunities for me.

Still - let's hope they are right about this summer - we'll be there in the UK for most of it.

England is a wonderful place when it's like that. I love to walk around Bristol Harbour in spring and summer - all the pubs overflowing - such a buzz. It's a shame it's so seldom like that.

Beer gardens in Germany are great too.

It is true today though as for me at this exact moment, I can not find any town here in all of Spain with a higher temp than Chelmsford
