Travel Insurance Cover for connecting flights
I wonder of anyone here knows for sure the answer to this?
As we know (I believe) one can book flights to the far east from London much cheaper than from say Malaga. But its not (normally) possible to book a journey from AGP (Malaga) via LHR to say MNL(Manila) thus its two separate bookings.
So if one books a flight from AGP to LHR, to catch a flight LHR to MNL, and the inward flight is late and thus one misses the flight to MNL, would one's travel insurance cover that?
My reason for asking is that my wife is Filipino and cannot enter UK (nor even Gib) without having to make a personal Visa application in Madrid. Thus a short stop-over is not easily possible.
Please, I would rather not have a guess, I can do that myself. I want to know if anyone has either had that experience or knows for certain.
Thanks
