TRANSFER MORTGAGE HOW TO DO IT ??
Hi all,
what do the banks need to transfer a mortgage
we have had an enquiry about our villa for sale, and wonderded what we need to do.

Talk to your Solicitor who will liaise with Bank. The Bank will attend at the Notary at the signing over to collect their cheque!

What info would a buyer need to bring for notary, because I understand that the bank can transfer my mortgage over to them. Would it just be proof of earnings etc??

I tried to do this (sibrogate I believe its called).
The buyer needs to contact the bank who you hold the mortgage with and see if they will do it.
Generally, it's the same as them applying from scratch, except the Bank already holds the details so it can be quicker.
Not much benefit to it I found.
