I know this might be a bit cheeky but when i come to visit the area i would like to know more about it than what a commercials agent is probably willing to tell me, i.e. i want to know the truth lol. Would anyone be willing to spend a day with my friend and i whilst we are in costa del sol, drinks on us ofcourse.

If you manage to persuade a yokel to show you the sights, I'd love to muscle in on your fiesta ..
Will arrive in the Costas late Feb time ..

I'd be happy to show you around, however, I live inland from Benalmadena, Fuengirola and altho we often drive down there, I dont know the areas too well.
The best thing for you to do is do your own little "pub crawl" (stick to soft drinks tho or you could be in trouble lol). Go into bars and get chatting with the other "punters" and the staff. You'll learn an awful lot. Perhaps dont tell them of your intentions, but just show an interest. They're the people who will be able to tell you how it is, what its like, the best places to go and what they think its gonna be like in the future
