Okay you lot listen up I will be moving to Spain around May all being well. Details to follow when I have had a kip. Just got back from the airport and knackered. I am 3000 euros lighter after putting a deposit down on a detached villa at Hondon de la Nieves

Thanks for the concern Pete

Steve

Just googled the area and saw this...

The village itself has a good choice of restaurants, bars, banks and markets. Hang-gliding, ballooning, quad biking, horse riding, trout fishing, mountain biking and rambling are all available in the area and can be enjoyed against the stunning backdrop of the spectacular Crevillente mountain range.

Better keep the bit about trout fishing quiet or you'll have Pete knocking on your door

Yup recognise all those and mini panic attacks at 3 am and not being able to get back asleep. Mini panic attacks during the day and waves of sickness and dread. I think it must go hand in hand with a move like this. Will plow on regardless as I can see the end game. I have a burning desire to leave this hell hole and these doubts are my fuel for the fire. Once I am sat in the sun on my terrace on my first night the fire will die out, it will be nothing more than embers of some distant memory, I will finally douse those embers with a glass of red produced at the local winery whilst surrounded by vineyards and mountain views.
