This time in two weeks...
I will be in Spain at last permantly
Setting of on the Friday and taking a nice leisurly drive down through France, well as leisurly as you can with a mad victorian bulldog in the back
Back together with my girlfriend as well so won't be going it alone what is a plus, also two friends are driving down with us to share the driving and another couple who are making the move the same day are joining us but they have bought further down the coast by Estopona.
I'm bored waiting now if i'm honest and the days have really started to drag.
So as long as the weather is nice and my internet connection is turned on so i can work i will be very happy.

OK, so I'm envious. I'm there in 1 week, but only temporary. I hope it all goes splendiferously for you.
I always enjoy seeing someone else escape. A bit like someone in Colditz watching a successful attempt, and hoping it is a good omen for his escape.
Like you I am sitting in Limbo. We have been renting here since we sold the house nearly two years ago, expecting to just be here a short time while things were sorted out so we could retire and go to Spain, and boy, does it get boring at times. Add to that the weather and.....

I'm heading to Riveria del Sol 25 minutres from Malaga and 10 minutes from Marbella. Not everyones cuppa tea but whilst i am still 28 i want to be on the coast near the night life etc on a weekend. Though i do plan in the end to move further inland in maybe 10 or so years.

Straight into work as well when i get threre ensuring all my customers start placing orders through my website, but that should not be a problem. Also have someone looking after things in the UK for stragglers etc not aware.
Also a new exciting business is ion the go in Spain in the very early stages but got a talented business partner in with me so exciting times ahead in Spain.

Re: This time in two weeks...
Hi John,
You mentioned you need the internet for work. Well Youre probably aware but there is a wifi service covering Rivera Del Sol. Which you should be able to get pretty much instant access to. So no need to wait around for telefonica and stuff to fit broadband.
Riviera is nice, but its a bit "brit zone" I know the area pretty well.
I know what its like with time dragging and stuff. Trust me youll be setting off on your drive before you know it.
Best of luck for your trip. Im out in Estepona and was also from Doncaster!!

Cheers for the heads up on the wi fi but we already have the line installed and waiting.
I know it is a bit of a brit zone but it will do us for now and near all our needs at present, and as you say is nice and chilled back and a nicer feel to the place than a lot of other brit populated areas. Though my stree ha a large number of spaniards so we are not all brit.
Where in Doncaster were you from ?

Hi John1979.
Yeah Riviera is good. I know Georges bar and stuff pretty well. The girl who i live with used to live there so i was down quite a lot.
Im originally from Maltby, however spent 5 years in Bentley and then was in Harworth for a year before moving out to Spain. Im in Estepona now, working in Gibraltar.
