I wanted to say goodbye to those who have been good friends over the years here. El Capitan and I had a great laughs and shared some good information with some of you but now is time to go. Not giving reasons those in charge know them.

If you are coming to Spain good luck, life is what you make it no matter where you are, you need to make the effort. Don't believe all your read about Spain on forums and its ways, rules and regulations, they vary so much from region to region and to each circumstance. Best do your own research and use what you read with your 'common sense' hat on :-) nobody said life was easy but it can be good :-)

Of course you and El Capitan were good enough to put us up when we visited Seville, and you were both wonderful hosts and very generous. We were very sad when he passed on so early in life.

It's a shame if you have to leave the forum, as I think both I and many others read your posts with interest.

Thanks Mitzy. Sometimes you just need to clear your head and see the world from a different prospective. Ex pat forums can be dour places full of moans groans and nasties.


It has been nice to have people comment on my post and in mails too.

I have thought about leaving many times due to some peoples attitudes and comments, nearly always regulars but I do not as that would be unfair to those genuine folk seeking advice here.
I dare say that there are a few here who would be glad to see the back of me but as long as there are those who are gratefull for advice I won't let a small minority push me out.
