Why has the thread on riding a scooter in Gib been closed?

At a guess, because after being given the facts (that he cannot ride a scooter in Gib or Spain with his current license) people continued to say how he could as he is unlikey to get caught.
The forum cannot encourage people to break the law, and besides it's very poor advice as the police on both sides regularly pull over ALL the bikers for a paperwork check as it is easy fine money!
