The Valencia area certainly has the schools that we would be looking at, any areas around there that people would recommend?

thanks

Sorry, gonna sidetrack you Arsnlno1,

Look up Cadiz province. Many towns have the schools you are looking for, great beaches, countryside etc. Expats can be found in larger and smaller groups throughout the towns and villages and Jerez airport has flights to Madrid. Seville is an hour away or you could use Gibraltar which is also an hour away from Jerez de la Frontera.

Good luck & happy hunting

Thanks for starting this thread, Arsnlno1, as your circumstances are very like mine (leaving the Granite City for Spain, but rotating job in oil).

We've also decided on Valenica, and plan to rent for a while to find where is best for us all (or if kids even like the place).

This has already answered a few of the questions that I had knocking around my noggin.

Sorry, dinnae let me take things off topic.

Same situation as us too. We're thinking of moving to Spain too. We're Uk expats- been living in Thailand for 9 years. Husband on rigs. Interesting about all the diff. areas. What I would really like to know is if anyone can tell us about good international (not local) schools. Would really appreciate it- after living here for years I don't believe school websites.
