Either everyone is free to post or no one is!!!
No excuse for multiple exclamation marks though, that just betrays a lack of confidence in what is being said.

The odd space here and there would help too.

Hope That Helps,

Exactly. Very few people really know the English language that well... especially us Brits! We ALL make mistakes, most of the time we don't realise we're making them...

Even poor grammer is not a problem really, you know from the context what the poster is trying to say, and they may well not have had the benefit of good teaching while at school, or had poor schooling, not always the persons fault.

Must have imagined all those ORAL spelling tests I did at school then no wonder I was always being told to sit up and pay attention

Should that not be "I'm an English teacher"?

Don't sentences start with capital letter's?

Just curious as would like to improve me English

That's exactly how I learnt to spell as well - orally. The trouble is that the generation behind us learnt to spell using phonetics which doesn't work particularly well with the English language as it is riddled with sound anomalies. They were also taught that spelling doesn't matter, it's more important to get across the intent. This concept would have blown the minds of all my English teachers.

Heaven help the current teen generation with their predictive and abbreviated text culture. I don't think they'll ever be able to spell at all. My step-daughter, bless her heart, asks me to read and correct the spelling on all her university essays as she really hasn't a clue how to spell even though she's a very bright girl.

It's easy to get hung up on spelling mistakes and I can sympathise with billgates to a degree. But at the end of the day, as long as you get the gist of the post - that's what matters.
