Default Term Deposits - Savings

Hi all,
I have been trying to get some information on interest rates for fixed term savings accounts in Spain but it not easy.
In UK I just go to one of the money supermarket sites and they have already done the legwork.
The Spanish savings banks do not have much information on their websites.
Ant ideas please?

It is difficult, I have been offerd 3% fixed term by my own bank but Banco Popular said I can get 4% with easy access, they give you a book. I must say I have not yet received a cent in interest yet though.

I found it odd that they don't rush to snap your hand off when you say you are thinking of investing money with them like in the UK.

Best of luck

This is also a good site for comparisons of financial products (not just savings accounts)

Check the other thread "pull out savings".
Personally I wouldn't touch Spanish bank term savings schemes with a barge pole.
At the end of the day they don't turn out to be what they appeared to be cracked up to be, and quite possibly end up much worse.

Best advise I could give is keep your ISAs going, use an English address to do that....
I wish I had done as investing money here is a waste of time, with bank charges and tax taken out you often pay them to hold your money!

Also watch out for the guaranteed bank investments, mine are at present operating at a loss.
