Whilst I can't dispute your estimation of the 'bulk buy' price because I don't know, I would be very surprised if a sat.receiver that retails at 129 euros could be got for 15 ?

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with what has been discussed in this thread:

yes another rebroadcaster was visited yesterday and documents and equipment removed.

i would not be surprised that all those rebroadcasters who are still transmitting pay tv channels (ie sky) will probably be visited soon also...

i know of 2 in my area that still send out sky channels..

I find it difficult to believe this quote from the article:

"Several clients told the Guardia Civil that they were indeed customers of the group, but that they did not know the service was unauthorised."

I think, for many people, it is the logistics of installing a dish rather than the cost.

Cost per dish is Not that much highter if you think off it , few people get to getter and have one dish shared , the cost come down , look nicer and you Recycling "yes you are "

last tv company that was relaying was costting 699 euros , 20 odd channels

1.8m dish installed 700€ then your digi box so you picing up 200+ channels free BBCs ITVs CH4 CH5 and more
(subscribers only Variety, Knowledge, News & Events, Children's, Music, Style & Culture sport and movie premieres Packs . )

Again when you going to learn dish is safe and not turn off by the Hand off the law

Re: Telmicro Levante

yes sharing a dish is a good option, it cuts the cost per house down and each home has the option as to what sort of receiver and / or free / sky
channels to have.

you can have upto 4 cables directly from the dish, and in theory you can have an infinite number of connections to a dish, by using multiswitches.
it is always an idea to plan ahead as these days many receivers are PVRs and require two cables to be used properly.

but the position of the dish, and that "you can see it for miles" is they key factor that makes poeple not do down the dish route. many times my prefered position for a dish is vetoed as "it is not in a nice place" or "i can see that from the living room"..its down to best reception or best position!

i would not be surprised if some more rebroadcasters are visited in the next few months...
