Default Telefonica Domo Telephone/Answering Machine - advice pls

Could someone advise me on how I can change my Spanish answering service message to an English message - when friends phone from the UK they can never be sure that they actually left a message for me! Also, my phone rings for about 5 rings then automatically goes onto the anwering service so is there a way I can change that, too? It would save me risking life and limb trying to get to the phone before I miss the call! Many thanks.
