Default Taxis in Ayamonte

Hello all,
I found an old thread about this topic. My situation is that my wife and I will be arriving at about 10:15 pm at the Ayamonte bus station from Huelva and we will need to get back to our hotel in Vila Real. Are there taxis available to cross the bridge at that hour and enter into Portugal? About how much might they charge?

thank you for any possible assistance

Jur spends most of his time on his own forum.

You should not have a problem getting a taxi at that time, just in case the central nr. for the taxis is 959 320 824. I´m guessing the fare will be about 10/15€.

Hi all,
I'm planning a lunch in Vila Real for 5. and as Ayamonte taxis are not able to carry more that 4 passengers (I guess that still stands) thought I would arrange collection/return with a Portuguese taxi. Does anybody have a contact number? Thanks

Is that a Portuguese mate? I have been told that even mini buses in Ayamonte can't take more than 4 people because they were putting other drivers noses out of joint. Does this still stand? I'd rather booked a Vila Real minbus than take 2 taxi's both ways.
