Default Taxable allowances

Hi all,
Can anyone advise whether such things as an hipoteca payment or an alimony payment are tax deductable in Spain.
Thanks for any help here
Cheers

Mortgage payments are no longer deductible for the purchase of your home, but they are an allowable expense against income from a property bought specifically to let long term.

Alimony payments under a court order to a former spouse are deductible, but child maintenance payments are not.

My accountant still declares the interest on my mortgage - is this not correct?

Mortgages running before they changed the rules can still be deducted. It's not just the interest, the entire capital payment is deductible up to 9k per annum.
