Has anyone had any experience of returning back to the uk and taking their spanish registered owned car,as i do not really want to sell it and lose a good car and lot money if unable able to sell very hard moment?,whats involved to do it,is it a viable worthwhile operation?.

Short answer NO!,and a good question fred i did think about that one,i know there are LHD cars in the uk having been back xmas time and seen some,not many grant you,however in a situation that if i cannot sell it within 1-3 months what do i do have tried while now sell?..

could try something similar to this? I know they wont pay top price but worth asking. I have never used them or know anything about them I am sure there will be others?

A friend of mine took one back to the UK a couple of years ago and found it was to expensive to put on UK plates. I dont know the figures though,.

She ended up returning it to Spain and selling it

Same with relatives of mine, they were quoted something like £1500, and they hadn't even told the Spanish authorities they were taking it to the UK, so they couldn't have sold it anyway, or the new owners would have had problems, it got s bad they were going to scrap it, but as it was Spanish regiustered no scrap yard would take it.

Well within reason eh!,12 year old nissan xtrail 2.2 but excellent condition if i can get 1500-2500 euros its better than nothing....

I would suggest you make a visit to a few local car dealers and see what they will offer you.
