My partner has to inject once a week and we have a travelling sharps bin to safely store the used syringes. It is now full and needs disposed of. In the UK, we can give them to a chemist for disposal. I have just been to the local farmacia here and the woman was unable (or unwilling) to understand what I was asking her to do.
Does anyone have any knowledge of how syringes are meant to be safely disposed of in Spain?

Try a medical centre. You have to have a special licence/contract for removal of syringes and needles.

It looks like a slightly bigger nail clipper.
Suggest you ask at your local health centre in Spain.
Hope this is of some use.

Thanks for the responses, I'll try the local health centre tomorrow.
