advice with small trucks (Camions)
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can give me advice on the matter of small lorries and the legallitys of what you can drive in spain? i have a full uk licence which will enable me to drive up to 7.5 ton.Im looking to purchase a small tipper prob max capacity of 6500kgs for moving my excavator around in?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated before i commit to buying one?

Hi
If it were me, I would change my licence for a Spanish one. That way you can drive such a vehicle without thinking that some overzealous policeman can cause you hassle

Word of warning.......
I changed mine to a Spanish one.
My old UK license allowed 7.5T.
My new Spanish one doesn't.
The reason (according to Traffico):
My UK photo license (not the paper one) had expired by one day so I will have to take a test in Spain to get the 7.5T rating.
I changed mine to a Spanish one.
My old UK license allowed 7.5T.
My new Spanish one doesn't.

A Tarjeta de transporte is a necessity for commercial vehicles - if the vehicle is privately owned then you donĀ“t need one. But it was over four years ago when I last had a truck

Did you just show Traffico the D737 form or did DVLA communicate with Traffico directly?
