Default Swimming Pool tile has come off - help please!

Wonder if anyone has any advice on our pool tile problem. One of the small tiles on the last bottom step has come off, we think the pool robot is the cause. We were told that if we use clear sillicone and put it back without emptying the pool (which would be very costly and a real waste of water especially at this time of the year), within 2 weeks it would be stuck. Well, well, surprise-surprise it didnt work. Would someone knows of a special product that could be used in the water and secure the tile back? Or is this an impossible task?

Thanks a lot.

I very much enjoy this forum.

Happy Summer to you all.

you can get a special material from the builders yard (or perhaps the ferrateria) that you can use just for this purpose - but dont know the name of it sorry but if you ask sure they will know what you mean

Try 'Pattex - Arreglatodo' It's about 5 Euros a tube, you cut a little bit off and mix it in your fingers, apply it to the tile and stick it down, you need to hold it in place for a few minutes and Bob's your dad's brother. Any extra that you've mixed can be used as grout.

Where we stayed in Mexico they had two guys sticking tiles on everyday almost, two huge great swimming pools.

Part of one of them in the pic.

Thats correct, super place.
Sorry about the problems you had, but maybe you should try again, well worth a visit.
Even though the place was full there was loads of space everywhere as its so vast and lots to do.

Well I asked at the local builders merchant that also stock pool supplies and they said there was no such product. However SIKAFLEX is moisture curing, so I imagine it would do the trick. Trouble in Spain is that it only comes in large tubes, doesn't keep for long once opened and isn't cheap. Either wait until you have a few 'sticky' jobs or buy a small tube in Britain and take it out. Most chandlers and good DIY places should sell it.

It's strange that I use it to replace tiles then isn't it. Like most pool suppliers they actually know very little

Lots of thing included for kids poolside and in rooms in the hotel, clown shows etc.
Lots of entertainment in the eves also, we had a two and a half year old with us and he never got bored.
Also loads of trips, boat hire, scuba diving, swim with dolphins etc, but at extra cost.
Drink and eat 24/7 if you want, not only local drinks like usual in most all inclusive, but most you could think of, and food was excellent.

.
