The stress of selling a house!

Thanks for your replies on this. Alba lucky you.
Our viewing went well again tonight and they did ask about entry dates etc. but, the dreaded garden issue was raised again! They already have a south facing garden as she "likes her garden".
Well it is important I suppose for these long hot summers we get North of the border

I have a friend who retired to Skye, but in the end sold up and moved back to the Cambridge area.
Congrats on the successful sale.

I remember when we were selling one house the woman of the couple looked at our dining room with disdain and said "we'd never get our dining table in here", bearing in mind she had the property details with measurements in her hand.
I was tempted to say "well **** off somewhere where you can then and stop wasting my time"

Then why waste our time? Did they think that during the viewing they'd find another, hence the disappointment?

Burning's too good I reckon!

Ther are some deeply stupid people out there.
This is a summary of a conversation when I tried to take someone's number. I swear to god this is unaltered, except the actual number.
Me Your T number please.
Him One two, three four, five six.
OK, that's 123, 456.
No, it's One two, three four, five six.
Yeah that's 123, 456.
No, it's One two, three four, five six.
Oh. I see, it's One two, duuuuuuuh, three four, duuuuhhh, five six.
(That's exactly how I said it)
Yes, that's right, you've got it now!
What can you say????
