we are going to alcudia in may and wondered if anybody on here can advice us on a store/s.we need to furnish an apartment and would be grateful if anybody could let us know if there is anywhere similar to john lewis. thanks

Andalucia is a big place, but if you are looking for department stores there's always an El Corte Inglés somewhere nearby

Alcudia however is in Mallorca...

But there's a Corte del Ingles in Palma.

We have an Alcudia here also, unless its recently gone floating across the Med with all the rain.

Oh Yes! There is one in Andalucia too! Alcudia de Monteagud. I wonder which one domo25 is going to.

I've never known a country where so many place names are repeated so many times.
Though some of them do have a bit added on the end, I imagine it still causes all sorts of complications.
