we are going to alcudia in may and wondered if anybody on here can advice us on a store/s.we need to furnish an apartment and would be grateful if anybody could let us know if there is anywhere similar to john lewis. thanks

Andalucia is a big place, but if you are looking for department stores there's always an El Corte InglÃ©s somewhere nearby

Fortunately for passengers no! alcudia in is almost an anagram of andalucia, so that's almost an excuse :D

We have an Alcudia here also, unless its recently gone floating across the Med with all the rain.

Oh Yes! There is one in Andalucia too! Alcudia de Monteagud. I wonder which one domo25 is going to.

I've never known a country where so many place names are repeated so many times.
Though some of them do have a bit added on the end, I imagine it still causes all sorts of complications.
