Mine was only a level one CACDP course but it included a lot of interesting stuff. Done purely to raise awareness in my job of adult tutor.

thanks to everyone for there help, we are back in Spain in 3 weeks viewing properties again! funny how life works out, net a spanish lady whose cousin is deaf and teaches at the school for the deaf in Valencia! she is keeping in touch via email and am meeting her when we visit again in May, so it appears it does exist, however we were very impressed by what was on offer in local schools so decisions to be made in the next few weeks/months!

thanks again to all who took the time to reply, much appreciated. Also daughter now invited to attend an international event for deaf children in Madrid in July so appears the young deaf are alive and kicking in Spain!

So pleased to hear that your daughter is already forging links in Spain it must be a huge relief to you. It is surprising once the ball gets rolling how you meet up with people.
