Sorry to hear about your probs with Spantel Youngy. I've been with Spantel for 6 months now for adsl and mobile and personally have never had a problem, also I have had the occasion to call them on the 902 number for other matters and always been able to get a response. Several of my friends are also with them and likewise have had no probs, so I think you have just been unlucky, hope you get sorted as it must be very frustrating

I have the Spantel 1mb ADSL service with the SpeedTouch 530 ADSL Modem.
I have been given a Belkin ADSL2 + Modem Router. I have connected it, used the setup wizard etc etc .... but cannot access the Internet via the direct or Wifi links although all the relevant loights are green
Do I need to contact Spantel to change any of my account settings or can any body help with other ideas without having to contact Spantel.

As for the other guy Youngy, USB Modems give awful speeds whatever your line is, maybe try to use a router, you may also have a stuck profile but, possibly unlikely with the upload speed your getting. YOu would have to rule out the modem first
