Does anyone know how I can remove my Spanish residency? I have moved back to the UK after being a resident in Spain for 3 years, I have a NIE and would like to remove my residency as I don't plan to return to Spain.

You could pay a gestor to do it on your behalf, expensive though
We were going to do this, but ended up going to the police station ourselves
Why didn't you deregister from the foreign citizens register before you left Spain?
It's best to get this sorted out though. I know most go back to the UK without bothering, but the authorities are more on the ball now, and it could save future bother.
The tax office may think you are still resident in Spain!
