I generally find that the darker the meat (and chewier) definitely the tastier.
However.... for a cheap 'n' cheerful version, the Jamon Hembra from Lidl is not half bad.

Ref jamon y queso pitufos etc., they're not all bad either, guess it depends on the source of the jamon, hence this thread!

Asparagus... another way is to get the asparagus al dente then cook in a frying pan or equivalent with a splodge of olive oil & some taquitos of jamon until the asparagus has just taken a bit of colour. Yum.

Pendantic..... well that made me smile. Interestingly the link still worked!

Ill def check out lidl and I also like the dark chewier meat.

Its odd cos I have had jamon so many times in the past but only recently do I have almost a craving for a bit.

The small packs dont last long.

...................and i have run out.
