Spanish equivalent of Olbas Oil
#1
I am trying to cut back on the goods I get from the UK. I have used this decongestant in the family for years, the kind where you place a few drops on a tissue near the sleeping patient so they can breathe easier when they have a cold or hayfever. Not a big fan of medication but this natural remedy has proven to be very useful.
Is there a Spanish equivalent or does anyone know of a similar Spanish product?

Given the number of eucalyptus trees around, I'd have thought Eucalyptus Oil - cheaper & more effective (imo) than Olbas - would be in farmacias too. I had some before we came over & it seems to last for ever, so I've never had to search

My farmacia is great. Just take in any item including prescription medication and they will invariably have the same or an equvilant at less than UK cost.

Try looking for PH-OH oil or Aceite. It can be purchased from Herboristerias and made Dr A Vogel.

Thanks for the advice, I will give them a try.
Apart from the onion (thats the first time I have heard that one!), I think I will give that one a miss, couldn't stand the stink in the bedroom.

Quite surprising, I got some from our pharmacy (in Albir), guess what?- it's called SINUS. It's made by Boots healthcare (s.a.) Madrid. Exactly the same as Olbas. I can sniff these things out
