Default Spanish advisors in British Consulates

It seems that the British consulates in Málaga and Alicante will now have Spanish housing, health and social experts (provided by the Spanish government) to guide and advise 'the million Britons living in Spain' plus all newcomers. This is the deal signed on Sunday by the British Minister for Europe Chris Bryant and the Spanish Territorial Minister Gaspar Zarrías in Málaga.
Good News!

Sounds like it is part of the wider Spanish government drive to make sure everyone is paying their taxes!

It should benefit everyone though

GMTV has a short report on the Minister's visit, plus an interview with him on the issue of 'illegal homes' in Spain.

Thanks for posting the link.

Sounds like good news since he indicates that Junta has come with a solution which will remove the threat of demolition.

From what appears in the local papers it´s also a huge problem here in Valencia, with tens of thousands of houses built on "rustic" land.
