But it appears you can't make a reasoned argument, and I almost never see you give links or evidence to back up your assertions. You seem to relish just giving out insults - once in a while is fine, but with you it's constant aggression.
It's always "you idiot" "you're childish" or whatever.
Back on Ignore (and I only hope people don't quote you as then I'm forced to read your sneers)
Next!

Thanks Stevie, in your case I shall consider it an honour.

Now lighten up a bit and get yourself a life or else go out and get yourself a bit of the other to try and put a smile on your face.

By the way you'd have been wise to read the thread title before dropping yourself in it with that post and the previous one.

Pots and kettles comes to mind. ;)

Look at me, I'm a train on a track
I'm a train, I'm a train, I'm a chucka train, yeah
Look at me, got a load on my back
I'm a train, I'm a train, I'm a chucka train, yeah

Yes he is numero uno in the insult game and his everything perfect in Spain and snidey little put downs of the UK make his posts ridiculous.

As for food banks in the UK, I have said this before...WHY? Just google how much a family of 4 gets on benefit, plus their rent paid. It may not buy them flash cars etc but certainly enough to feed and clothe them

UK not generous, it must have the biggest charity network in Europe with thousands giving up their free time to work as volunteers. It took foreigners to set up most of the charities on the coast. Remember Joan Hunt who set up CUDECA because there was NO pallative care or assistance for cancer sufferers.

This is weird - and I'm not going to join in except to say that pocaloca and cricketman both started in on people who commented on a negative aspect of Spain in another thread and when challenged listed a whole lot of things they didn't like about Spain themselves.

It seems there's one rule for them (although I have no idea what's so special about them) and another for 'us' whoever 'we' are in their estimation.

And as Dick says - look at the thread title...

Bloody odd....

We could say the same for you...why don't you live in Spain instead of spending just a few days per year there. Plenty of well paid TEFL jobs, cheap everything, excellent service....whats stopping you:rofl::rofl:

Jacky - I know we exchange personal jibes from time to time, but I've explained on various occasions that my partners' health comes first. She is fluent in 3 languages but Spanish is new to her, and it would be difficult for me to force to move there, although we are looking into some possibilities...in the meantime we stay in London (although we were thinking of Istanbul earlier this year).
Additionally, as I've stated, I find many things are good in the UK. Not as good on balance as Spain in my opinion, but I can't complain about my current location|!
I know you won't believe this (as you seldom believe anything) but on my latest trip to Spain I signed up with 2 different partners for web ventures, and also have a couple of leads to progress here in the UK. It really isn't the 100% bad scenario you try and portray.

every organisation in the job-search business suggests that those out of work should work for charities to give themselves experience, then hits them hard because they do more than 16hrs a week.

when working with the unemployed I had people coming in every week saying they had been sent by the JobCentre and I could find them a job doing charity work. FFS where did they think I had hidden the Santa Sack full of these "opportunities" ??
one woman hadnt worked since her daughter was born 19 years before, when she was 18. Knew how to work a mobile but that was the only experience she had in her life, other than that of having a child.

I'd like to get this damned thing back on track, but with the thread title being what it is, it's difficult to treat it with anything other than the contempt it deserves.

I'd dread to think of the furore that would erupt were anyone disrespectful enough to reverse those two adjectives in the title, .....though considering the depth of the corruption here some may well consider it very apt.
