Default BE Spain closing down

Just read a number of e-mails on My Cadiz forum that said they had been informed that BE Spain was closing down and subscriptions had been sought. Is this someones idea of a joke, a wouldbe scam or another site?

Going nowhere? The most helpful site I have found.
Now that IS harsh

BUT should it be true, for those more technically capable than I, how do I (and the rest of us technophobes) keep in touch with this amazing store of knowledge?

Its another site with a similar title.
I received an extended e-mail from them explaining in detail the various reasons for the closedown,.....mainly lack of support both financial and physical.
Cant actually recall using the site, but suppose I must have registered or logged on at some time in the long distant past.

Reading elsewhere it's the British Expats Association (Spain) site that is closing down.

Apparently they were the ones who got the Resedencia card that could be used as identification replaced by a useless piece of paper.

If so good riddance to them
