snooker question

Well I was as convinced as you that it was impossible, however the guy left it with me for almost a week to try and work it out for myself but even then I still hadn't a clue.
He eventually wrote it down for me on a scrap of paper as it was a little complex but unfortunately that's long gone, maybe my ferrets have eaten it.

This one was technically possible as the rules used to be, but very highly improbable and not the one that was explained to me.

There is or was also a game called Snooker Plus with 2 extra coloured balls, purple ten and orange eight points.
Naturally the highest possible is much greater at that game, but that is not what I referred to.
I have the full set of balls for that game stashed away somewhere and also what appear to be the original set of ivory billiard balls that probably were in use when the table was new, possibly back in the late eighteen hundreds.

If your opponent plays a professional foul and is forced to play again or you elect that they play again and they keep fouling, I suppose your score is only limited by the number of times they keep messing up prior to your amazing clearance and 147.

Based on there being an infinite number of fouls an apponeent can make, theoretically the maximum score also also infinite. However, this has no impact on the maximum break.
