Just got home from Circo California; kids really loved it: all three people, a pigeon, two ducks, 4 dogs, six snakes, a pony & three caymans. However all sorts of thoughts arose: how many people does it take to run a circus (you may say three, see above, but who drives the 2 artics & 2 caravans? who erects the big(ish) top?) how can they make a living on maybe 150 people a night at 8E a night max (adult)? What can they do during 'working hours' if their life is nomadic? And what must it be like being an animal welfare activist in Spain??????
