I have been told to bring a sky card over. however i do not have sky, how do i get a sky viewing card in the uk with out having to have a dish etc put up.

If i cant get a sky viewing card can i get one in spain, i dont want a full package i only want what we have on freeview here in the uk because only my kids really watch the tv.

If you really must have a sky card, there are loads of adverts in the Spanish based English free newspapers offering them without the need of a UK address.

Is there any other way of getting feeview channels without having to subscibe to sky in spain?

we have 36 channels TV and 15 radio, through telecina, no SKY card, but do get SKY programmes, and for the football lovers that includes ALL the Prem + matches 33 channels are fixed, there a 4 Spanish ones, and 3 channels are 'reserved' that is they change daily, and during the day, so you could get E4, UK TV Drama, Biography etc, but you don't have any say, it's just what they decide to broadcast. You do need a dish and box though, but the charge, once installed, is 19€ a month. There are plenty of companies round here offering the service, all advertise in the local English Lang papers.

You can get a card from Sky on 0870 240 5651 for £20. Ask for a "Freesat" viewing card. They will only post it to a UK address.

This will give you all the free to view channels such as C4 and 5 which are not available without a card.

The BBC and ITV channels plus many more are free to air and do not need a viewing card and can be recieved on a non sky satellite receiver.
