Hi,
I have heard that there is an ikea that will be opening in or near malaga.
Can anyone tell me when this is roughly meant to be opening?

They are building one in Malaga but at the moment there are delays, there is also speculation that another is to be built in the Miramar Centre Fuengirola and is expected to be finished before the Malaga one.

here is a list of stores in Spain, the Murcia one is open & apparently so busy that it sometimes closes its doors!

yes the Murcia one is very busy, and as it is part of a major shopping complex the whole complex is busy, caused tail backs of some 70km first holiday weekend after it was fully opened, the motorway was feeling the effects as far away as Alicante. Plenty of local bus companies running trips every week.

Thanks for all your replies, i would just like to ask, The ikea's in Spain are they the same as the uk in items that they sell and price (Euros)
As i am not bringing any furniture i need to get most of mine from ikea once i get there.

Not for another two or three years I think but they´ve started on the site. Jerez beat El Puerto de Santa Maria to the contract only this year.
