Hello. I am in Sydney and I am using a smart dns service with a Roku3. This works very well.
I would like to know if I can use a Sky + HD box to do the same. I would like catchup and free Sky channels.plus be able to download shows.
Im not sure if the Sky box needs a satellite and smart card to receive anything at all. Or if I can just use the Ethernet or wireless options.
Thank you for reading.

You will not be able to use a Sky UK receiver in Sydney, as it relies on signals from the satellites (which you cannot receive where you are) before it starts to work.
But a UK Sky Now TV box should work...catchup and some free channels available via internet - (using a uk ip address0
