Default Sky replacement handsets

hi, maybe one for the Guy...

I need one of the above & see Maplin, Amazon have them in grey or blue with a new design layout at c 10-20 GBP.

Do they all work the same, & can anyone confirm they do work -I don't want to bring one back to Spain & find it isn't compatible with my Pace box c 2004.

I have official basic (new!) grey sky remotes...25euros - pretty much always have a few in stock

The A79HQ on Maplins is NOT an official Sky remote - but a "universal" remote dsigned by "one for all"...but they say it works...

Sky+ and HD+ remotes are designed for the Sky+ and HD boxes - but they can, with a few button presses, be programmed to act as a basic Sky remote - they all operate on slightly different IR frequencies, but sometimes a Sky+ remote can control a HD+ box...

Got a few jobs done this morning, but just a bit too wet to go on roofs...and the cloud playing havoc in getting the best signals on dishes....
