Default Sky Channels

Peeps might like to check for new Sky channels. We were surprised yesterday to discover that we now have ESPN and Eurosport, Fox news and all the Discovery/history/science channels.

I don't know when or why they arrived.

Default Re: Sky Channels

From the 1st Sept there were a few changes to the Sky package that affects Sky SUBSCRIBERS only.

As notified in the Sky monthly magazines, on their website, on their TV channels, (and by some useful satellite TV chappie on his website for the last 2 months since this was announced!)

1 - the 12 month price freeze....because....

2 - the 6 genre mixes are now only 2 "mixes".

The 6 mixes have been merged..into "Entertainment" and Entertainment Extra.

Depending on your previous mixes, you may have just those in "Entertainment" or those in "Entertainmant and Entertainment Extra".

If you subscibed to either the Variety and Lifestyle genres then you will have the Entertainment pack - all channels from the Variety and Lifestyle mixes.

If you subscibed to any of the four other genres, Music, News and Events, Knowledge and Childrens, then you will now have Entertainment Extra mix - anda ll channels from the Music, News and Events, Knowledge and Childrens genres.

You will not pay any thing more per month for receiving these new channels for 12 months.

Then you will pay:
£20 per month for the Entertainment pack
or
£25 per month for the Entertainment and Entertainment Extra mixes....

So from the 1st Sept 2012, you may well be paying more than you currently are - yes, for channels that you may not have wanted!!!! Hence their nice offer of the 12 month "price freeze" - as they normally raise their prices by 50p-£1 in September....

To remove packages you need to give then 31 days notice.

You CANNOT have the channels in Entertainment Extra without subbing to the Entertainment mix....
