i think your friend should have called sky and pretended to be you, rather than calling sky "on behalf of you"
and the pretent "you" orders a card for your friends own address.. like i said "if your neice is good at BS (and quick thinking) then call sky..." |

I have a very old Sky card which I use in a spare tv in the bedroom. What do you think of the idea of calling Sky and asking to re-activate this card as a subscription using a UK address and saying I had bought a sky plus box on ebay?

it MAY be possible, if you have all the details for the card (including the address the card was registered to) and the sky account that was used.
you should then be able to add a new bank account to it, and even change the address to another one - as long as you have the deatils to gain access tot he sky account. you will also need all the details of the sky box that you want the card to be paired to - services 4 and 5 - system details... |
