hi all, please could anyone suggest cheapest & reliable way of shipping small items UK to Spain. Min for my usual courier is half a m2 so too much for a small item. No rush, a few weeks is ok.

I'd need to be able to sign for it & value is c 200 GBP.

No personal experience of the company, but in another forum, they speak very highly of these. Good price as well apparently.
Don't know if it's big enough for what you have in mind.

Highly recommend www.ecoparcel.eu Used them twice to ship 3/4 boxes (about 30 kilos each). First time was about €16 each, second time, about 3 weeks ago was about €20, but still very cheap. Parcels picked up next day in UK by Parcelforce, and delivered in Spain 5 days later, although they do say 7 days. Would use them again

Ive used ecoparcel 3 times now and found them great, Ive posted Spain-UK and visa versa, and parcels have only took 4-5 days,

Anyone recommend a shipper for about 1 cu. meter (small table) UK to Spain ?

Sometime ago someone suggested that I look for a shipper/tucker who picks ups tiles etc in Spain. They probably leave UK almost empty, but I have not had any luck.

No haulage company would leave UK almost empty for a trip to Spain to collect tiles and remain in business for long.

Most of the fruit trucks come back from the UK empty.

Thanks Rotor, I thought the previous comment might have been a little off mark.

In many cases I guess, however groupage operators in the UK work with many of them to ship their groupage to Spain rather than send their own trailers out or use more expensive UK hauliers. They wouldnt tell you that I guess though

I have no personal connection or experience with this company/organisation but I am considering perhaps using them in the near future to ship a load of personal effects from East Sussex to Malaga depending on the qoute.
