Semi-rural Galicia [Long-term rentals]
Hello all, currently traveling in the North of Portugal... initially the plan was to emigrate to Portugal (from Scotland, where we have driven from, via Holland) but where we are staying in Portugal is ablaze currently and the heat is not turning out to be workable! hah!
So- Galicia. As someone put it in this forum "scotland without the midgies!".
We're looking for a rural-ish property with room for two studios, we both do 'creative' things from home and require only internet access and a post office to survive! Is there a particular rental website in the North of Spain that would be a good place to look for such places, we're intending to do some short rentals (of a week or so) over the next two months to 'check it out'.

I would also recommend North East Spain along med coast. Galicia can be just as hot as the place you are now and depends where in Galicia you want to be. Usual websites Fotocasa, Idealista. But for short rentals (a week etc.) you'd probably have to look at holiday home websites such as airbnb etc.

Thank you so much, after a phone call with a friend who originally hails from Galicia we have been recommended the area of Camariñas. So we're currently investigating rentals there. If anyone hears of anything in the area, rural, rustic 2>3 rooms. Please get in touch!
