Hi,
Could I please ask if anyone has any experience or knowledge of the following - any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated:-
1. What are the approximate costs of selling a property in Spain ? (I understand that the costs of purchasing are around 10%)
2. When I am paid for in the sale (in euros) and the exchange rate into sterling is poor; what would be the best option for keeping the euros safe and secure until the rate improves ?
Thanks in advance

The costs of buying are nearer 15% now with ITP (transfer tax AKA stamp duty at about 10%).
You can always open a euro account in UK where you may get a better interest rate.
As for selling costs, the biggest chunk will be the estate agent - the rest is minimal. Be aware that they may retain 3% if you are not staying in Spain.
